Hi, all! I’m new to RetroArch, and happy to see that it has finally made its way to Windows! However, I seem unable to launch it on Windows 10! Is there a guide available for installing RetroArch on Windows 10? Thanks!
You’re probably missing directx 9.0c. Use MS’s web installer to get it: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?displayLang=en&id=35
the installer is not compatible with windows 10. Microsoft is assuming that if your running windows 10, then you don’t ned Dx9
You can totally install DX9 on Windows 10. I’ve done it to several of them.
It’s been a while, but you might have to right click the .exe and open it like a zip. Some older installers are like that on the newer windows.
Either way, it’s totally do-able.
