How to launch ScummVM games

Hello,

could you tell me how to launch ScummVM games from the Retroarch Interface?

First you need to copy your games into the retroarch folder. An example would be C:\emulators\retroarch\scummvmgames\gamename

Then load the scummvm core. Next you need to add a game in the cores interface. This will create and write a file in your retorarch\system dir called scummvm.ini

Next launch the game form the cores interface. Confirm it works.

If it does you can revisit the scummvm.ini and move your games location to where ever you want.

It works, thanks. In fact it is no necessary to copy a game in the retroarch directory as you can explore your hard disk with the ScummVM Core interface. I added a game, exit Retroarch and now I have a scummvm.ini file in the Retroarch system directory, as you said. In fact I already have a ScummVM install on my computer. So I replaced the scummvm.ini by my scummvm initial config file and now all my games listed in the RA Scummvm interface. I reported 2 bugs:

  • scummvm core is not compile with zlib, so you can not play video at start
  • it is very difficult to select a game with the mouse or the key direction
