How to restore Retro Arch default settings on Mac OS X?

I messed up when I was entering in the menu keyboard controls. The ability to select a menu item vanished and I cannot get it to go back no matter how many times I delete and reinstall.

How do I delete what I did and go back to the original settings? I’m not getting able to delete my original settings.

You need to delete your retroarch.cfg which lives in ~/library/application support/RetroArch or something like that.

Are you talking about within the RetroArch application itself or on my Mac in general?

When I’ve tried to delete something from within the application, it tells me it can’t be deleted.
