Hi! I am using retroarch (last .apk downloaded from website) on an android tv (Xiaomi TV android 9.0) and it is impossible for me to configure the gamepad (Logitech Precision), when I try to bind the gamepad controls and press some buttons on the gamepad it sends me to the TV menus (netflix, prime ,…) and lose focus of retroarch app How can I make retroarch ignore tv controls via gamepad so I can override it with in game controls?
I’m also having trouble mapping controllers on my android tv. I almost feel like I’m going to have to make a .rmp file elsewhere and then load it onto the tv, but idk if that’s the right approach
I’m a newbie so if you get something or find out some information about it I would appreciate if you share it!
Also a noob, happy to help each other Ive mostly been testing on my android phone and haven’t gotten a chance to confirm this on my TV, but I think what you’re looking for is “Settings -> input -> menu controls” and then turn off “unified menu controls.” I’ve also realized that “Quick menu -> controls” and “Settings -> input -> controls” are different, so if one isn’t working out try the other.
Thanks for your reply! but I tried it and no work for me on android TV
