I have two issues with my Retroarch currently

A. Sometimes with my Dualshock 3 controller it combines turbo to Circle and ESC to my start button for no reason and I’m trying to figure that out.

B. When I select close content and completely closes the software.

Any solutions to these? Thanks.

You probably have the option on to close RetroArch when you quit or close content. You can disable it. Open RetroArch, in the main menu go to Settings > User Interface. There is an option “Quit on Close Content”, set it to OFF. I assume its currently ON. The alternate option CLI is like ON, but only in effect when you start RetroArch from terminal.

IT WORKS PERFECTLY. Also, do you have a solution for Part. A?

Good to hear about that. Unfortunately I don’t know how to troubleshoot your other problem with the gamepad. Especially because it only happens “sometimes”?

Do you use Steam? If yes, having it opened alongside RetroArch may be problematic if Steam overlay is activated for your controller, resulting in conflicts between buttons and keyboard presses.

That fucking makes sense but even when I close it down, it still acts up.

But did you really close it or is it still running in the background? Open your task manager to make sure Steam is actually closed.

It worked perfectly. Thanks, it was getting frustrating.

Good to know. If you don’t actually use Steam overlay for your Dualshock, then it’s better to disable it for Playstation controllers (Steam has this specific option), since it causes many conflicts with extraneous apps.
