IBuffalo SNES. Its configured but does weird thing

When I am playing Super Mario World for the SNES I hit the left D-pad and it acts like the B button it selects the stage. When on a level I can’t run right, but I can run left. Mario doesn’t accelerate while going left for some reason, and I can’t move left on the map screen it instead selects the stage. Anyone have any idea what is causing this. I tested the controller inputs at http://www.html5rocks.com/en/tutorials/doodles/gamepad/gamepad-tester/tester.html and all the buttons work fine…

I just don’t get it. If you can help me or have any idea let me know. I would greatly appreciate it!

Try this autoconfig file in the following folder: \autoconfig\xinput\xinput

I created this config file for my iBuffalo SNES pads and it works perfectly.

Very new to this program. Where is this located? I will keep looking to see if I can find it. None the less thanks for this. I am stoked to see if it works for me!

Download this file and place it in the folder I stated above. The autoconfig folder should be in your RetroArch folder.

I didn’t even see the folder you stated.

That was actually the first place I tried. i made a txt file called IBuffalo I pasted in your info, and then renamed it to cfg file. Windows warned me i was changing the file type, I accepted, but still I suffer from this glitch I mentioned earlier.

I am baffled , I tried super mario allstars and fired up mario 3, and Its the same. My guy like auto runs left and wants to take off and fly but when i try to use any dash button and my right direction on my dpad he won’t run at all but he will move right, I just can’t run and move right…I am so confused.

Right analag stick? On an iBuffalo SNES pad? Now I’m confused.

whoops I mean right on my dpad.

I fired up the SNESx9 emulator stand alone not using retroarch and the controller works like a dream. What has happened here? why is this happening?
