iOS 8.X JailBreak Warning - TaiG

Just letting you know that TaiG has released a new Jailbreak: TaiG 2.3.1

If you jailbreak with 2.2.0 you may have a security flaw which allows all applications to gain root access to your phone.

I don’t know what bad implications this can cause, but it’s a warning sent out to users.

Little more info here.

http://www.taig.com/en/update_log.html

Stable version is 2.3.0 http://218.7.130.135/18fe2a1700000000-1436464016-3735151524/data12/apt.taig.com/installer/en/TaiGJBreak_EN_2300.zip

Otherwise you can use 2.3.1 BETA (May have some bugs)

If you don’t care and have no problem with applications gaining root access, I’d personally wait a few versions later… apparently the versions 2.3.0 and so on are having difficulties with some users.

Small update, I rebroke my 4S to test it, seems to be going well.

The jailbreak is fine. From many reputable jail breakers including jay freeman.

Mkay cool, I just saw many complaints and thought I’d help out give some info on it. ;d

You don’t need to ‘rejailbreak’ - just update the untether in Cydia. - correct? So, not really a problem, most people have wifi

Ah yes I forgot there’s a patch in Cydia you can use. ;d
