iOS 9 Jailbreak and Dynarec

So today an iOS 9 jailbreak was released by Pangu team, and it looks like RetroArch doesn’t support it. Yet.

But the question is, once RetroArch has been updated, will dynarec also be supported, or will it not work? I’m asking since all previous Pangu jailbreaks broke dynarec whereas TaiG didn’t.

This isn’t a matter of RetroArch supporting anything, AFAIK. If you can compile RetroArch (or if someone else compiles it for you), it should work just fine. Our builds are for pre-9 iOS but we’re planning to start providing iOS 9-compatible cores soon. Whether or not dynarecs work is up to the makers of the jailbreak.

I’m curious to know, myself

Pangu is well known for dynarecs not working

If I remember correctly, the Pangu dynarec issue only affected 64 bit devices, right?

No, it broke dynarec on my old iPad Mini 1st gen aswell. And it seems to have broken it on my iPad Mini 4th gen 9.0.1 again (can’t use ppsspp at all).

Welp, guess I’ll just update to 9.1 then and use the iPad as a working/productivity device until a usable Jailbreak comes out.
