Iphone 4 iOS 5.1.1 can't play ps1 games

Hi all,

I have spent almost the whole day trying to get any ps1 games to work on my iPhone 4 running 5.1.1

Is this even possible? I have placed all 4 required bios in the proper place and downloaded a few games from the internet (only ones that I own the real copies of, including final fantasy 7). When I start the rom, choose the core, it simply crashes to the home screen.
As far as I know, there is no way to get to IOS 6 at this point and I cannot stand IOS 7 (and there is no JB anyways as far as I can tell). Please help, I am about to go on a long road trip and I would be in heaven if I could play FF7 during the down times.

AFAIK, the PCSX-ReARMed dynarec only works on 6.0.2. untethered jailbreaks. If you missed that boat, I think you’re out of luck unless/until a fully dynarec-compatible jailbreak comes out for iOS 7

That is most upsetting, but thanks for clearing it up.
I guess it will never happen for me because IOS 7 is the worst thing I have ever seen.
It’s sad to watch the downfall of Apple, they actually gave people want they wanted once (well, mostly).
