Is an Sony Xperia L1 good enough to run the melonDS core?

MT6737T 64-bit Quad-core 1.5GHz processor with Android 7.0 OS, and 2GB RAM. I would like to run the shader lcd-grid-v2-nds-color-motionblur.glslp, and I usually use default core options.

Never mind . . . it can barely run anything. Does anyone know what the minimum specs are for android to run the core?

I tried to use the MelonDS core the other day on my GPD XD+ which is rather powerful for an Android device, and it did not run well.

You can probably get a rough estimate by displaying the FPS on your device, then looking up some benchmarks of your device options e.g. https://www.notebookcheck.net/MT6737T-vs-820-MSM8996_8500_7889.247596.0.html

I would guess that geekbench allows a rough comparsion, suggesting that the Snapdragon 820 there is more than twice as fast. Looking it up, it’s apparently about as fast the CPU in the GPD XD+ though, and I just tested Melon DS on PC - it’s not fast, so I guess you’d really need something very powerful for Android.
