Is it likely this will end up on Android?

Ouya seems to be a homebrew console everyone has been waiting for and there are no lucrative emulator apps at the moment that will be fit for the big screen.

How likely is it that this will end up on Android, more specifically… Ouya? Once its ported to Android all it will take is to plug it into the Ouya APIs.

An Android port is already in the works. Once that’s in place, it shouldn’t take much if any work to get it compatible with the Ouya console.

RetroArch 0.9.6 was all about the PS3/360 ports of RetroArch.

RetroArch 0.9.7 was all about the Wii/Xbox 1 ports of RetroArch.

Continuing with that trend, RetroArch 0.9.8 will be all about the Android port of RetroArch.

Who knows, there might be some more surprises on the porting front.

I’m open to an iOS port for stuff like iPhone or iPad if somebody would donate me an IPad or something - if not, it’s not happening by me unfortunately as I can only make ports for the platforms I own (which happens to include Android at this point).
