Hello. Retroarch Linux version not load jpg format in thumbnail box scan. Only load png. I not see any configuration to allow load jpg. Retroarch need install any OS dependencies for load jpg ?
jpg use much less disk space than png. jpg use 15 % disk space used by the same images using png.

Thanks for your reply. Almost all emulators and frontend use both png and jpg. Adding jpg support for Retroarch will be an good feature because save very much disk space. I have 4,5 GB of box scan using png format. If converting to jpg possibly will be less of 600 MB. That help users with devices with low disk space.
