Issue with RetroArch detecting phone

Everytime I load it up, it always crash on any game I load. I tried other emulator and they have no issue loading the game. So I tried to use a different core to see if it is the issue with the core. And it crashed basically. I was puzzled why it is happening because I read the reviews and they don’t have this specific issue. My phone is T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (SGH-T889). When I reinstall Retroarch (I thought the core must be corrupted during the installation) and open the app. I discovered that Retroarch detected that I am using Nexus 7 2013 device. And I am not. That is must be why it kept crashing due to using the Nexus 7 2013 pre-set.

Is there any other way to manually change the setting for what phone I am using? I tried to look for it but I couldn’t find it. I must be overlooking it.

Edit: I recently discovered the issue. For some reason Mednafen PSX core is not working correctly and causing the crashes. I decided to use Load Content (Detect Core). I am running FFVII game if you all wondering what game is it. When I load it, it showing PCSX ReARMed [NEON], but it didn’t show Mednafen PSX in the list. When I select PCSX core, it working great without any issue. Basically Mednafen PSX been causing the problem.
