I updated to Nightly Build Aug29 (I’d previously been on version 1.1 I think) and I only see a black backgroud…is there way to get dynamic backgrounds working or even the coloured background again?

If it’s changed to a black background with white blocky text, that means it’s lost your ‘assets’ setting. Go into settings > directory settings and point your ‘assets directory’ to wherever those are stored.
