On my Playstation Classic, I have been using the lcd3x shader with a number of handheld systems. Given the power of the device, this is the only grid shader that I can use with good performance. I see that the shader has multiple settings and I don’t have the real systems on hand to check which is the best/most accurate.
My question to the forum is, which is the best/most accurate setting for these handheld systems?
- Gameboy
- Gameboy Color
- Neo Geo Pocket
- Gameboy Advance
With the GB systems, I am using the core settings to get the adjusted colours, however I feel some of the settings on the shader add a tinge to the image. I have also tried the GBC (with gridlines) and while it doesn’t mess with the colour, the lines just don’t look as convincing. Also for the Gameboy, I add the gb-palette shader to give it the green tinge.
Thanks!
