Legend of Dragoon (green lines in pre-rendered backgrounds)

I’m playing Legend of Dragoon in Playstation Beetle HW core, using Vulkan renderer. But using any texture filtering after “Nearest” puts these green lines/outlines all throughout the pre-rendered backgrounds. Is there any way to keep the graphics and pre-rendered backgrounds upscaled while getting rid of the green lines at the same time?

I assume it would do this for other games like FF7, FF8, FF9 and Star Ocean Second Story as well…Basically, any of the old rpg’s with pre-rendered backgrounds…

Your options are:

1.) use a super-*xbr-3d shader to smooth out backgrounds and text/HUDs while ignoring the up-rezzed polygons

2.) run everything at native res and use something like scalefx-hybrid or nnedi3 to upscale everything

3.) deal with it :frowning:
