Hi, I have a question.If what I read is correct several of the libretro cores that retroarch utilizes (Like Genesis GX) have support for example using the mouse cursor for ligtgun emulation. I was wondering if this is possible with retroarch? It only gives me supercope and justifier options.
Is there any way to get Menacer, Sega Master System Light Phaser emulation working?
Yes, SNES9x, bsnes, Genesis Plus GX and Nestopia all support the light gun controllers of their respective systems.
The current stable build on the website is quite outdated and was created before those features were added to most of the cores.
If you’re on a 64-bit system you can use lordashrams WIP builds which should work fine: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=993
Otherwise you’ll need to compile the cores yourself or wait for the next stable release that should happen this month.
