Ubuntu 20.04.3 What is better input option when using game controller ? UDEV or SDL ?

Use UDEV. SDL2 is a great API, but since LibRetro can access UDEV directly, why would you use SDL2 which in turn accesses UDEV?

Simply use UDEV.
