Load desktop mode as default view

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows how I can load Desktop Mode as the default view once launched?

I know I can press F5 but I was just wondering :relaxed:

settings > user interface > show desktop menu on startup ON

Hello, thanks for tips @hunterk, but i can’t launch only desktop menu, is normal?

Correct. The “big picture mode” window is the “real” RetroArch and the desktop mode just interacts with that main process, so it can’t really exist without it.
