Low Performance compared to windows

Hi,

I’m a longtime windows user transitioning to Linux as my daily driver.

Over tried setting up retroarch as close to my windows install as possible and generally, when I used GPU heavy shaders performance is unusable due to stutter and slowdown. I’ve tried every driver available and I’m using things like feral gamemode.

Is there anything obvious I’m missing to replicate the performance I’ve been enjoying with windows?

If you’re using the snap/flatpak version, see if it gets better with the appimage version.
