Mame 2010/2014?

set passes to 0 and apply
Thanks.

I’ve installed the latest mame from the nightlys, also the redists into my stable RA folder and loaded a couple of 0.144 roms (1941 & Alien Storm)…They both loaded with the stuttering problem…so I tried turning off some settings… When I turned of ‘Window Compositing’ they seemed to run fine, even with a crt shader???..However, each time I add a new rom I have the problem until I mess with settings…strange!

Also, how do you remove/clear shaders? All I can seem to do is choose a different one?
Are you playing windowed or fullscreen?

Windows handles rendering differently depending on this. It was a huge difference with WinXP (if that’s what you’re using).

Full screen on Win 7 32bit

I’ve tried alien storm and aliens vs predators (from that youtube vid you linked) in MAME and both are running fine on default settings in RA. I’m running in fullscreen with a scanline shader enabled. No slowdowns or stuttering. Not sure what could be causing it on your end seeing as how i’m running on weaker hardware in comparison:

Gigabyte Brix CPU i7 2GHz (3.1 turbo) GPU Intel HD 4000 RAM 16GB Win 7 Ultimate 64bit

RA nightly builds

I have obtained a MAME 0.78 romset, which MAME core supports this set? The core I have is MAME 2014 and the roms don’t load.

Using 64-bit Windows version of RA.

it’s MAME2003

I can’t seem to find that core on buildbot.

Not sure why it’s not in libretro-super/buildbot, but you can try this build I just cross-compiled (32- and 64-bit libs included): http://www.mediafire.com/download/hpibxgau9fqb4lh/mame078-win-2-14-2015.zip

Thanks a mil hunterk

It fails at the linking phase, argument list too long

That’s working great, just got to test it this evening. Thanks a mil hunterk.

sweet. np

Will there be support for the MAME cores displaying the game titles as opposed to the rom names in a future update?

I think once the database stuff is up and running, yes.

Does anyone have windows 64bit mame 2003 (mame 0.78) dll file. I’ve got a mame 0.78 romset and need this version but can’t find it anywhere. I checked both stable and nightly core archives on buildbot.libretro.com but there is no mame 0.78 dll. Thank you

sadly it fails to link because of stupid command line argument restrictions and I haven’t been able to fix that

I found it here: http://libretro.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1994&page=3&p=18770&viewfull=1#post18770 Many thanks hunterk

Hi

recently I updated to nightly version and have problem with my mame core (mame 154 ver 152). Everything works, except creating nvram files (which was working before the retroarch update). Anyone can help with that?
