Mame and Stella stopped working

I had been playing Atari and Arcade games just fine about a month or two ago, now when I try to play one retroarch just closes. I’m not sure how to troubleshoot this.

Same thing happens with all the settings at default. I downloaded a fresh folder to test and it didn’t work there either. All other emulators in retroarch are working fine.
