I just tried out the MAME core for the first time and am a little confused.
How do I configure controls, as there seems to be no Controls menu in the Quick Menu, like there is for all other cores?
Also, in Options there’s ‘enable cheats’, but how exactly do you see and turn on / off those cheats?
Mame controls are handled by the mame core internally. I forget the joypad combo for bringing up the menu now but if you have a keyboard you can hit tab. From there go to input general and set your controls up for all games. Change the option listed as tab for a key you prefer.
