MAME started crushing

RetroArch worked great on my new PC. It still works, but not MAME anymore. Even tho same games works with FBA, like Gaiapolis. But some games, like Battletoads, compatible only with MAME, so I can’t leave it be .

Mame worked at first, but at some point just stopped. Now every time no matter which rom I load it shows blue ‘loading machine’ screen for a split second, than app crashes, every time. I tried to reset config, tried to download new retroarch copy, tried changing GPU driver in settings, but same result every time. I just can’t imagine where problem might be. Does anyone have experience with that?

Using latest win10, FX CPU, RX GPU, not sure what else matters.

try running retroarch --verbose and pasting it to pastebin (or similar).

bsmt2000.bin NOT FOUND (tried in btoads bsmt2000)
Fatal error: Required files are missing, the machine cannot be run.

Need the right rom for Mame 0.194.

oh, I yeah, I think I previosly used older ver of mame, it’s roms being updated somehow
