Mednafen PSX cannot find bios files

Hello,

I’m having trouble getting the Retroarch nightly build to work with Mednafen. It is unable to find the bios files. Here is the info screen:

The bios files are in the right directory (system) and my config is not set to look for them anywhere else:

I have tried renaming to all caps etc. The bios files are the correct ones. Here is the checksum:

When I try to open a cue file, here is where mednafen crashes:

The cue file is valid (I have opened it and checked).

I’ve looked at all the google results to try and get RetroArch working with Mednafen, but nothing has fixed this problem. I think the primary issue is that the bios files are not showing up in the core info screen. I honestly suspect that the latest version of the core might be at fault, but I’m not sure where to find an older one to try (but I admit this is a huuuge stretch and is likely not the issue).

Does anyone have any idea why the core might not be recognizing the files?

Are you sure you’ve configured your system dir correctly?

Well, I feel pretty dumb now. I opened the config and the system directory was set to “default”. I thought this was good and never bothered to change it. I set it to “:\system” and mednafen worked.
