Whenever i try to load a ps one game retroarch crashes. anyone else has this problem?
I haven’t used mednafen psx yet, but nestopia kept crashing when loading a famicom game because I didn’t have the bios. Does it need a bios? Does your iso work in a standalone ps1 emulator?
There are usually only two reasons mednafen crashes… The bios isn’t in the system folder, or the CUE sheets aren’t correct… For me it was the cue sheets. Open up a cue sheet of a game that doesn’t work and check the first line and see if the name matches the file name in the folder… this fixed my issues.

The problem was the bios files, i did include them in the system folder but after some google searching i seems that i had to rename scph7003 to scph5501
