Menu bug on Android RetroArch

When I access the menus when a game is paused on Android RetroArch (the green text menus), something is wrong with the control scheme. Any direction I select scrolls very fast and doesn’t quit until I press another direction. This happens both on the current official build and on test builds got on this forum. My Android phone is a Kyocera Hydro. Please help discover what’s causong this. I can answer any further questions.

It occurs to me that this behavior would be consistent with failing to detect when a touch lets up.

The new version still does this.

I have also noticed on this menu that the accept and cancel buttons are switched from the normal RetroArch menus. For example, in the standard menu (using an XBOX controller), A is accept, and B is back. On the in-game menu (green text), B is accept, and A is back. Is there a reason for this? Thanks for the help!
