Menu hotkey: Block frontend input for short period after invoking

I make liberal use of a controller hotkey for invoking the menu as I am rarely within reach of a keyboard when playing games in RetroArch. Much of the time, my select+start menu hotkey triggers an info request in RGUI ("No Information Available).

Are there any drawbacks to briefly blocking frontend input after invoking the menu hotkey? I’m talking about perhaps 50ms. I can’t think of any. It would save me much frustration and make save-scumming much easier (joking–I rarely indulge :P).

I’ll only bump this once. It isn’t a bad idea, is it?
