Is there any major improvements to the xmb/lakka menus to be expected in the upcoming 1.1 release? Like them both a lot, but there is very little room for configurations of it. Afaik. =|
Well, Lakka is a brand new GUI that it will be introduced in RetroArch 1.1 very soon and yes, it is a new menu driver by the way. But, to compare RetroArch’s GUI, well… there might be minor improvements in the upcoming release. Not major improvements, minor improvements.
Thanks. Is the Lakka still in development, or where are we heading? As Lakka feels very “Lite” and pretty much useless in the nightlies. The XMB menu also have a lot of potential.
I think XMB will eventually replace Lakka. It currently uses the same assets.
Personally, I intend to stick with RGUI.
Yeah XMB could be really nice with some kind of documentation on how to “theme” it. Or is there some kind of documentation on it already?
And can one dream of getting the boxcovers/carts as icons for the roms?
