I updated the code to increase the sound volume, by a factor of 10x. It sounds about the same as the nestopia core now, so should be less of a problem. I didnāt add a volume option, because like dankcushions says, no point in having 2 sets of volume settings if at all possible.
@wertz Thatās already what it does - set the channel volumes to 100%. But Mesenās default master volume is low on purpose - every effect you add via the standaloneās UI (panning, equalizer, reverb, cross-feed, NSF files with 11 channels, etc.) all bring you closer to getting to the 16-bit sample limit and causing sound issues. I set the volume for the core to the equivalent of 100% for standalone - since a lot of the audio options arenāt in the libretro core, this should be safe, though.
