MSX Turbo R in blueMSX goes back to menu in PC

Good evening, guys. This is my first time posting, I have been using Lakka for a week on my old Sony Vaio laptop, and almost everything works out of the box, even my Logitech F710 Gamepad. Lakka is simply fantastic.

But, I have a problem with the MSX emulation. Yesterday, I was playing with the options in the blueMSX Core, and changed the machine type from “MSX2+” to MSX Turbo R", and now, when I load an MSX ROM, The Core does not start, It just shows a black screen and then, it returns to the menu. I can’t change the machine type anymore.

Do I need something else to enable MSX Turbo R emulation?

And, if that is not possible, how can I go back to MSX2+?

I have tested both 32 and 64 bit editions, both have the same problem with MSX Turbo R.

Thank you very much for your time, and keep up the good work!

Bruno

It works fine here on windows.
You usually need Databases and Machines folders from the stand-alone BlueMsx in your system folder.
If you still got an issue you can go into retroarch-core-options.cfg to change bluemsx_msxtype = “Auto”, or just deleting the line will bring it back to default.

Hello Tatsuya79, thanks for answering. I am using Lakka (booting from an USB flash drive), I already have the Machines and Databases in the system folder, as I wrote before, MSX2+ emulation was working good in Lakka, but after I changed the machine type in the core options to MSX Turbo R, (via menu) none of the MSX roms load now.

I have tested blueMSX in windows and Turbo emulation works OK.

I suppose that it is bug in the libretro port of blueMSX. Please somebody can confirm this?
