Multiplayer on retroarch iOS 9

Hi you guys! Just trying to figure out how to connect 2 PS3 controllers to retroarch on iOS 9. My wife and I used to play multiplayer games together all the time on retroarch for iOS 8, but on this iOS 9 version, we haven’t been able to connect 2 PS3 controllers at the same time. Any help on how to do that will be great! Thanks!

Im still wonderig how to connect only one ps3 lol. Have you succeeded connecting one already? Any advice you could give? Thanks in advance

Yea man, it’s actually quite easy.

  1. Make sure your device is jail broken
  2. Go into Cydia, install btstack and controllers for all 3.Download and install SixaxisPairTool on your computer. (Do a google search and you’ll find it) 4.Connect both your iOS device and PS3 controller to your Windows computer 5.Run SixaxisPairTool and insert your iOS device Bluetooth address (you can find it in Settings > General > About > Bluetooth) 6.Click Update and disconnect your controller.
  3. Done!

Unfortunately it looks like you won’t be able to connect multiple controllers on the latest nightly. In earlier versions, they could connect multiple Dual Shock 3 controllers via BTStack and then bind them to multiplayer controls but this framework was removed in the new iOS 9 RetroArch version. Controllers For All simulates the native MFi controller framework, which isn’t the same as the BTStack method and it doesn’t support connecting multiple controllers. :frowning:

Any news in nightlies fixing this?
