Iām new to installing RetroArch on a PS3, how do?
I understand that I have to downgrade my firmware before it will allow custom firmware to be installed that will recognize homebrew apps, but what do I need?
Can someone link me to a forum thread somewhere? Lol

You have to buy a piece of hardware, and also make sure that your unit can be downgraded. Look up E3 Flasher tutorials on youtube.
Not anymore. PS3ās are very easy to mod with cfw now with the new browser exploit.
Help how can i remove all traces of retroarch from ps3-i need to reinstall it and it seems like its saving files somewhere cuz my cores are sticking around no matter what i do. have formatted ps3 and rebuilt database etc used every option in recovery menu via ps3 and it still seems like it holding onto information have looked for a system folder to delete and its not there after retroarch has been uninstalled from xmb.
My current problem is i have no connectivity(only in retroarch) so cant dl cores bios or anything. My other prob when i had connectivity was inability to dl more cores
