N64 and PSX Netplay bugs

Hello.

I am really interested in this project because the netplay feature works almost without lag (not like kaillera) I tried with NES, SNES and Genesis and it worked very well.

However, the N64 emulator (Mupen64) crashes when I launch it with netplay enabled when someone joins. I’ve got no error message, just a crash. Could you fix it or try to add the open source projet64 core in RetroArch?

The Mednafen-PSX doesn’t support save states which are required for lagless netplay to work and the author only wants to implement them when “it’s stable” enough. http://mednafen.sourceforge.net/documentation/psx.html

Rewind and netplay are broken in the Mupen64plus core because the save states are too big to handle those features, I don’t think there is anyone working on this issue at the moment. https://github.com/libretro/mupen64plus … /issues/19

No, I really doubt that’s ever going to happen. PJ64 is heavily depended on Win32 functions while RA aims to run on as many platforms as possible. I think Mupen64plus has surpassed PJ64 in most cases anyway.
