N64 issue (analog sticks) with iPega 9025

Hi all, I got the ipega 9025 and have an issue with the n64. I connect it normally via the ios bluetooth and as the retroarch has only icade and keyboard mode i can connect it with B (icade) or A (keyboard) mode. Now while both modes work perfectly with snes, gba etc, i have a major issue in N64. In icade mode the right analog stick does not function by default so i cannot use/map the C buttons. In keyboard mode while it registers everything (including both analogs) and after I check and clear for duplicates in the meta keys section that might freeze the app, the buttons work but neither of the 2 analogs or the d-pad work. I would be grateful if someone knows how to fix that issue. Why don’t you add a joystick mode (the X-mode) that supposedly includes everything properly like true analog sticks.

Anyone plz?

I don’t have any apple devices, so I don’t know for sure, but you might be best off using controllersforall, which I think added support for ipega awhile back.

Unfortunately i m not jailbroken as i m in 7.1.1. Would it be possible to make the analogs that are assigned to certain keys at the keyboard mode to work? They register keys but in the game only the dpad and the buttons work For the windows version when i assign keys to the analogs using my actual pc keyboard it works. I would be grateful if anyone can actually help.

Pal, you just mess it up. This people do not support unofficial builds…

I don’t think I mess anything here. I know that libretro guys dont do the non jb versions but controlwise they r exactly the same with the only thing missing being the BTStack mode for obvious reasons. Now can you confirm me that in the original cydia verion of retroarch, in keyboard mode the analog sticks work in N64 in game? Coz i think it s a retroarch problem and not coz of the emu4ios build. If you can confirm me that I d be grateful.

I have the exact same issue with the 9025. I know it has been a while and maybe you already fixed it. If you did, how did you do it? If you still haven’t, you can use the “Controllers For All” tweak to get the correct mapping (allowing you to use the X + HOME setting), allowing you to use all the analog sticks correctly. Interestingly, you loose the “select” and “start” buttons but you can use the controller to it’s fullest capacity.
