The N64 emulator isn’t running very quickly and the audio cuts out. I’m using an Ipod Touch 4G running ios 6.1.6 if that has anything to do with it. Do I need more ini files? Plugins?
It may not be fast enough, but go into the core options and make sure you’re using the dynarec core (assuming you’re jailbroken) rather than interpreter and you can try playing with various plugins to see if any of them give you a bit more speed.
Do you mean dynamic_recompiler?
yep
No change. I tried using some of the other ones too. Nothing. I get like 12 fps.
You might be out of luck, then. Looks like the iPod Touch 4G only has an A4, which may simply lack the grunt required to get good speeds.
But the Playstation emulator is working fine 0.o No issues what so ever with that one.
In theory, shouldn’t the Playstation not work if the N64 isn’t working?
N64 is a more complex system to emulate. Is your iDevice jailbroken?
It’s a total apples-to-oranges comparison. GBA is probably too heavy for it, as well, and it’s not even 3D.
