Hey guys, just wondering, I know there’s some wackiness with some of the CD based games. I was just wondering if anyone has gotten it working with any of the current cores. It works with MESS and FBA outside of retroarch I believe, but I can’t seem to get them to work using those cores in retroarch.
FBA-libretro doesn’t have NGCD support implemented, so you’ll have to use MESS if you want to run them within libretro.
So does that mean I should be able to get it to work using the MESS liberto core? Because right now when I use it, it crashes almost immediately.
MESS is a pain to use and usually not worth it. If you feel adventurous enough look here http://www.libretro.com/index.php/mamemessume-cores/
FBA version would be easier to use, that MESS core is accurately named!
So, I should probably stick with MESS proper than use the liberto core? I don’t usually have too many issues with MESS, but then I only use it with a few older systems that don’t have any other real options for emulation.
If you want a standalone NGCD emulator you might as well just use FBA.
