NES Overscan Not working

Hello, I’m a new user of RA, best AIO emu solution, however, i’m facing issue in output, irrespective of what core i use for NES i see black bar on the left of the screen for most games. Using RA vr 1.3.6, on windows 7 x64, 16:9 , Overscan ON, 1920x1080. Alien 3, Young Indian Jones, Adventure island classic, and many more. They all show black bar on left and I deeply respect that these games are made for 4:3 but i want the game on my entire screen as i sit 20ft away from my monitor so the graphics look all good to me. I also play SNES, GENESIS, FBA, Turbografx16, GBA, all these stretch, problem exist only in NES

I think both Nestopia and FCEUmm have core options for overscan cropping. Make sure they’re disabled, as well as the one in settings > video, just to be sure.

Core overscanning sucks for nes and turbographx16. Do it by shader method instead: https://libretro.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7510&p=51001&viewfull=1#post51001

thanks for the replies, i did overscan is off , it still shows line and shader method looks complex, what i did, i set - Aspect Ratio Index = Custom, CustomVIewportX -55, CustomVIewportY 0 CustomViewportWidth 1975 , CustomVIewPortHeight 1080. Saved it as New Config - nestopia_libretro.cfg and enabled use per game core options + config per core in configuration, now it autoloads that config when i load nes roms, black bar is not seen in any nes rom now. perfect emulator achieved. now ican delete puNES. thanks to libretro team

Horizontal overscan cropping in the Nestopia core doesn’t seem to work if NTSC Composite is also enabled.
