Netplay: Pass not work + rndm client can disconnect netplay at will?

Using the public server list thing, encountered an issue when a 3rd player joined and immediately the entire netplay session disconnected, almost as if deliberately. Was playing a 2P game, Goof Troop.

It also seems that server password from Config options doesn’t work? still anyone can join without a password needing to be supplied. That kind of sucks, if someone’s able to join any game and kill it, and there’s no way to stop it.

Aside from that, and the unability to share save states or reset button, and Top Gear 2 suffering from desync, the netplay’s been stable.

Any ideas? Is it because Netplay is still experimental at this stage? The core we were using was SNES9x.

Edit: Apparently the password only works when not using the public thing. Top Gear 2 still sucks and desynced at the final race, sadface. Only one of us ending up seeing the credits.
