Netplay rollback not like ggpo?

Does netplay rollback just give you the same frame delay as just using p2p? Youre told to divide your ping by 16 to give you the frame delay that you should use and if you go any lower it doesn’t connect at at all. What does rollback do if it’s just like p2p? Can we get 1 frame delay like in ggpo?

The netplay lag frames are how many frames you would need to emulate within the span of a single frame in a worst-case rollback scenario. If your ping to your friend is 80 ms, in the worst case, you could diverge by as many as 5 frames, so that’s how many lag frames you need. It doesn’t actually delay your inputs.
