I want to use Netplay with a ROM that is not included in Retroarch’s database. As it is not included in this database, I cannot add it to the playlist (cf. Scanning vs. Collections , this behavior is really disturbing to me…). Also it seems that it is required to have the ROM included in the playlist to use Netplay (so that its hash/crc is computed and can be checked between client and host). When I want to use Netplay with this “unknown ROM”, I have the following behavior: when the client tries to connect to the host (same core, same rom), the hash/crc of the ROM displayed in the Lobby is “(0)” and the client cannot connect with an error saying that it does not have the same ROM as the host and that it can try to load it manually (but the ROM is the same and is already loaded on the client).
Is there a way to use Netplay with ROM not included in Retroarch’s database?
