New Cores For Retroarch

I just wanted to know if there will ever be new cores. I like retroarch now but there too little cores, yes there are many cores but there are multiple cores for one system. So i wanted to know if there will be new cores like PS2, PS3, Wii, Gamecube, etc.

Yes there will be new cores. Dolphin is being ported now. Porting a core to libretro can take time, especially if it is for 3D games.

Ok, thanks for the info

Don’t hold your breath on a PS3 core lol…

Thank you, core creators Will there be a Kawaks? Fighting game is my favorite!:grinning:

Kawaks is closed-source, AFAIK, so unless they decided to add libretro support on their own, it can’t happen. You should be able to play fighting games just fine through FBA or MAME cores, though.

I second the above statement. Final Burn Alpha is awesome via RetroArch. I outright refuse to run Neo Geo games any other way.

Bro,calm down please. I just have this question in my mind.

ā€œCalm downā€ about what? All I said was I think FBA is a great core for fighting games lol

Anyway, regarding core sugguestions… Has anybody spoken to this genius about implementing his Stereoscopic 3D version of VBjin?

We’ve had a shader that takes the beetle-vb core’s anaglyph output and converts it to side-by-side for a few years now.
