Non-jailbreak version and time setting {crashes}

EDIT: Okay, I realize after reading the things I was supposed to read that I was dumb. Just don’t get RA from emu4ios. Got it. Too bad for me, though. I guess I’ll have to buy something like an iPad or Android tablet to get the real RA working well and stuff.

It’s simple: the non-jailbreak version of RetroArch, as acquired from emu4ios.net, requires the time to be non-current or all cores crash on rom load. Setting to a past year like 2012 will allow RetroArch to work flawlessly (by the way, RetroArch is absolutely the hands-down coolest thing ever, getting emulators for like every atleast-somewhat-old thing ever to work on every modern platform), but the apple-default apps like iMessage and AppStore and so on require a current time to function, and require me to re-signing-in to my Apple ID for each app. Technically I can change the time whenever I go inbetween apple apps and RA, but this is tedious and time-consuming. Anybody can see why this would be painful. Is there a way for RA to work on the current time without using the jailbreak version? I realize the downloadable version from the RetroArch homepage is the source that needs Xcode to be compiled, but I am using Windows and don’t have the developer subscription for my Apple ID. Could somebody make an .ipa of RetroArch for me to attempt installing in iFunBox? Thanks for the help.

Non-jailbroken iPhones/iPads are not officially supported and “emu4ios” is NOT associated with us. If their builds are having problems you should talk to them.

You’ll either need to be able to compile and sign code yourself or jailbreak your device to use RetroArch.
