Nothing happens when I load a shader preset? How do I "apply it"? Make it show?

Sorry for the n00bish question but I am missing something here :(… I start a game, press F1, goto shaders, load shader preset, go to the shaders_glsl folder, choose crt-royale… then what? I loads a sec or so when I press enter, but on resuming the game, there is no change at all in the picture :frowning:

tried nes, cps1 (fba), with some games, but none shows any effects at all.

How do I apply the shader? I tried resetting the game also, but still nothing.

Try selecting a CG shader instead of a GLSL shader.

Shader presets should apply immediately upon selection. If it’s not applying, that means the shader is crashing for some reason. We would need a verbose log to know why. FAKEDIT: crt-royale doesn’t work via GLSL. Use the Cg version instead.

TIL :smiley: I always pressed apply afterwards. Guess I can stop that.
