Notifications covered by overlay

Can I make notifications be over overlay instead of being covered by it?

No, overlays are always on top, currently.

Then I won’t be using overlays until this is fixed.

You can still use overlays without blocking the message. Simply go into the Onscreen Notifications menu and move the position of the message using x & Y.

I know but I like my current position of messages.

It’s not going to be fixed because it’s not broken. You can feel free to make a feature request, though.

Where can I make feature requests?

You can make an issue at RetroArch’s github repo: https://github.com/libretro/retroarch

OK. thank you! I will

I kinda agree with Bero on that ; notifications are supposed to be seen, so it does not really make sense that the overlay covers them. I had to move the notifications in order to be able to see them when using an overlay and it was a little annoying.

I’m glad somebody agrees with me. BTW I don’t know if this happens to you but every time some overlay is loaded mouse pointer appears. That’s annoying too and one more reason not to use overlays yet for me.

The mouse pointer when using overlays is a known issue, but apparently there is no fix for that. Sorry.
