Nvidia Shield TV Controller Setup Help

Hi All,

I’m new to this whole Android and Emulator thing so please Help me.

I have installed Retro Arch and have entered a custom button layout via the Input menu. I have saved the config file.

I’m using the Nvidia Shield TV controller.

I have then gone to Rom Collection Browser and launched a game but I can not use my controller. All that it says at the bottom in yellow writing is that the controller is not configured.

If I try to go back to Retro Arch while the game is running I can no longer select anything.

Can anybody help me in simple steps lol

sounds like its loading this config from root

There are workarounds for this. Let me know if you can’t get it working.

Other Rom browsers make it a point to call retroarch config file. Try Gamesome or Arc Browser or Nostalgia. I like Arc Browser, cuzz you know, arc.

Arc is good.

This guy uses kodi+advanced launcher and retroarch. Not sure how good it is. http://lindqvist.synology.me/wordpress/

Or there is Hyperspin but that can’t launch a specific config. I use it though.

Or just use retroarch with playlists and thumbnails. It’s just as good
