Online Updater not working

Hi, I am using the September 19th nightly on my windows 10 machine. When I try to update cores (or anything else) through the GUI retroarch hangs and does nothing. Is there something I should check?

It’s working here with the September 20’th nightly. You could check the updater URL in the config file or even try flushing the DNS cache.

I’ve seen some reports of this What’s your buildbot URL? check the config

I think this is a problem with windows 10 itself. I am having rare cases on my two windows 10 installations where domain names wont correctly resolve for some small period of time or unless the DNS cache is flushed even though the DNS record should never have changed. My Linux install is unaffected.

That could be unrelated however and just be something on my end.

core_updater_buildbot_url = “http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/win-x86_64/latest/” core_updater_buildbot_assets_url = “http://buildbot.libretro.com/assets/

Flush DNS didn’t seem to help…

I am going to try the 9-20 build, will report back.

9-20 seems to work fine. Thanks for the input.
