Hey guys im a noob, iv managed to get Retroarch on my ipad 3 and can connect my PS3 controller using ‘controllers for all’ but it wont let me connect to the 2nd controller, i have paired them both using sixaxis, please help me thank you in advance people xxx
I was about to ask this one myself… though I’m not sure if it’s possible. I haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere else in the forum.
I don’t know if the bluetooth module in an iPad or iPhone can take parallel / multiple connections at once.
If so, cool!
What do i recomend is to disable Controllers for All and use the pure BTStack. Really trust me, that tweak doesn’t work fine yet with RetroArch.
And yes you can connect multiple controllers but you have to connect them one by one. With out Controllers For All…
Thank you guys but how to you connect it with Controllers for all’ being disabled, after i go on settings> BTstack… What do i do next… Thanks sorry im new to this all just been following youtube vids
You have to activate kind of input on retroarch(forget settings), select BTStack and leave it like that. After doing that automatically, every time you go inside the emulator, BTStack will activate and you will see a big bluetooth sign in status bar, when that happens just press the PS boton and it will connect. Try it out… Ah and every time you leave RetroArch i do recommend to take it out of background to stop BTStack using battery. Remember you only have to select kind of input on RetroArch. Go to Fronted-Bluetooth input type - BtStack. And there you go…
Make sure you’re using sixaxispairtool on your computer first to set up the controllers so your ios device will be able to identify them. Controllers for all is not needed at all for RA, just make sure to have CFA disabled in setting when using RA. Its only needed for games from the appstore that have mfi controller support (good for ppsspp too!).
if not already done so, here:
