It was called Project Y, I checked like two months ago and it hasn’t been updated for a while. It’s nice to know it’s going to be released soon. Mega Drive games released by fans in such large projects are amazing, it’s real love.
Do they sell the digital copy of it at all, or just physical repro carts?
Like their other game Pier Solar it will most likely be physical version first and then digital releases for Steam, PS4, etc.

So the game is making use of the stereo pins in the cart slot, very nice feature. It’s mixing Yamaha YM2612 FM and PSG channels with samples from the DT128M16VA1LT in the cartridge.
The OST sounds amazing, Groovemaster303 did some great work for Streets of Rage Remake a few years ago too

It’s no surprise most consoles rarely used their true power and features, if only all developers had this kind of care with all games they worked on at the time. There’s also a hacker that stated Capcom was lazy to make a better port of their games into Mega Drive/Genesis, he cleaned up the sound driver and the game is much better. It’s nice to see features we haven’t even experienced in this console. The MSU-1 mod for SNES is amazing as well.
