Parallel crashes remapping analog stick to analog triggers

I tried generating an useful log, but the log itself didn’t help so maybe there’s someone that could guess what’s happening. I’m trying to make the analog stick of the N64 gamepad work in the left and right triggers, but as soon as I assign these, the core crashes Retroarch. I want to use the triggers in racing games, much like modern games, most of them have an option to use the analog to steer and accelerate/brake at the same time.

Can someone reproduce it and come back with some information?

PS: I’m finding Parallel core much better than MupenPlus, specially with the wide-screen feature, when MupenPlus will display a lot of garbage in the expanded area, Parallel doesn’t have this problem and seems more robust in general.
